Dr. Rubin Cockrell

Board Member

Dr. Rubin Cockrell is an Award-Winning International Speaker, Author, Entrepreneur and Retired Professor.

Dr. Cockrell also serves as CEO of Positive Images & Associates LLC, a global consulting firm that has specialized in educational leadership, empowerment, and management consulting for clients in over forty plus countries around the world. In his role with the Nashville, TN-based company Dr. Cockrell trains global business leaders, students, government entities and civic groups to implement tools for achieving excellence and quality productivity within their personal life and their organization across the world.

Stewart Hubbard

Professional Profile: Over twenty years of increased responsibilities in positions of analytical, financial, and technical computations working with commercial, asset management, and investment banking domestic and international clients. Demonstrated strength in managing and planning multiple million-dollar credit & structured finance deals in time-pressured conditions with accurate response, and consistent follow-through on problem resolution and business development within a diverse multi-cultural environment. Structured, managed, and originated secured and unsecured commercial loans for corporations and high net-worth individuals via credit teams.

Brenda Motley

FE4L Board Member

Brenda Motley is a dedicated leader with a lifelong commitment to education, community service, and empowerment. A graduate of Tennessee State University with a degree in Criminal Justice and minors in Sociology and Psychology, Brenda brings a unique blend of expertise and passion to her role on the FE4L board.

With over 35 years of professional experience at FedEx, Brenda has been recognized for her excellence with multiple Bravo Zulu Awards and a 25 Years of Safe Driving Award. In addition to her corporate accomplishments, she has served as a substitute teacher at Knowledge Academies, where she creates positive and structured learning environments for students of all grade levels.

Brenda’s community involvement is extensive. As a Girl Scout Troop Leader, she has mentored young girls, helping them build confidence and achieve their goals. She also serves as a Deaconess at Olive Branch Missionary Baptist Church, where she provides spiritual support and guidance to her community.

Brenda’s dedication to fostering growth, knowledge, and leadership aligns perfectly with FE4L’s mission to empower and uplift individuals in marginalized communities. She is a proud advocate for creating opportunities that inspire lasting change, making her a valued member of the FE4L team.

Mark Dobson

Board Member

Mark Dobson is a distinguished professional with over 20 years of expertise in both the financial and real estate industries. A native of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mark earned a degree in Accounting and Business Law from Tennessee State University, providing a strong foundation for his impressive career.

Since 2004, Mark has served as the Lease Accounting Manager for Simon Property Group, the leading real estate investment trust (REIT) in the industry. In this role, he oversees the management of more than 300 malls and shopping centers across the United States and Canada. Mark’s responsibilities include managing lease accounting operations as well as overseeing utility billings and payables, showcasing his meticulous attention to detail and financial acumen. His extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting has been instrumental in navigating the complexities of lease accounting in the retail and real estate sectors.

In addition to his corporate accomplishments, Mark has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the real estate industry, further showcasing his deep expertise in this dynamic field. His entrepreneurial spirit extends to the hospitality industry as well, where he is the co-owner of The Block Bistro & Grill, a thriving restaurant located in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.

Mark’s professional background also includes over five years of experience in nonprofit accounting, where he demonstrated his commitment to financial transparency and effective resource management. His well-rounded career is marked by proven leadership, strategic insight, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mark remains dedicated to his Knoxville roots by actively engaging in community initiatives and philanthropic efforts. His passion for giving back and fostering growth in his community reflects his unwavering commitment to excellence both professionally and personally.

Mark Dobson’s breadth of experience, entrepreneurial vision, and dedication to excellence make him an ideal board member for FE4L. His expertise and leadership will be invaluable in advancing the organization’s mission of financial empowerment and education.

LEE MOLLETTE II

Mentor/Advisor

Lee Molette II is an advisor, entrepreneur, developer, and Angel investor who settled in Nashville nearly 30 years ago.  Early in his career, he opened financial advisor Edward Jones’ first office in Nashville. Lee manages a multi-million-dollar portfolio of commercial and residential investment properties and in 2015 launched Frank Stanton Developers LLC to expand his real estate development initiatives. 

Lashonda M. Jones

Board Member

Lashonda M. Jones Broker/Owner of Jones & Partners Realty is a seasoned real estate professional based in Nashville, TN.
She has used her experience, knowledge, and expertise to help many families buy and/or sell a home or invest in real estate for almost 20 years!

She is known as a motivational teacher and life coach and has been featured in several popular books, magazines and other publications. As an avid reader, she also enjoy writing inspirational and educational books that lead to lifestyle improvement.

She enjoys sharing her life experience on how to bounce back from adversity through training and coaching on topics such as mindfulness meditation, effective verbal communication skills, dealing with change and conflict, and team-building activities to foster cooperation and collaboration.

Lashonda is known to solve tough problems that occur in the market place with out-of-the-box thinking and creating a win-win for her clients.

In her free time, she enjoys cooking, reading, traveling and enjoying sports with her four sons.

Lawrence Taylor, Jr.

Coach/Real Estate/Advisor/Photopragher ​

Lawrence Taylor is an accomplished professional with extensive expertise in credit, real estate, and entrepreneurship as the owner of Chicagraphy Images photography, with over a decade of experience as a coach and financial advisor in the credit repair industry, Lawrence has guided hundreds of clients from less desirable credit to proud homeowners. His commitment to financial empowerment and education makes him a valuable member of the FE4L Board of Directors.

A Chicago native, Lawrence is a proud graduate of Tennessee State University and a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He began his career in the corrections field, serving for five years before joining the Metro Davidson County Police Department in 1997. After a distinguished 15-year career in law enforcement, he retired in 2011 to focus on helping individuals and families purchase homes and achieve financial success.
